As we begin our 19th year of operations at AlphaTRAC, I’m looking forward with great excitement to the new challenges we have chosen as a company – expanding our solutions for our long-time clients, entering new markets, growing the company.  All in the pursuit of our corporate purpose.

I can’t remember exactly when we became a purpose-driven company, but it has made an enormous difference – it defines who we really are at AlphaTRAC and gives us focus.

I’ve heard it said many times and seen it written in many business texts that “the purpose of a business is to increase shareholder value.” I couldn’t disagree more!

Of course, every business has to turn a profit – otherwise all you have is a hobby. But I believe that every person – and every company – needs a higher calling. Something that will pull you into work every day, knowing that your efforts are worthwhile.

Our purpose at AlphaTRAC is to make a difference in the world – to really improve the protection of workers, public, environment and mission in crisis situations.

Whether it’s hazards assessments, emergency plans, or combat decision-making, every one of us knows that this is what we are about. We are excited about it and dedicated to it.

We also know that all of our clients – now and into the future – share this purpose. To our clients: we are honored to share the journey. Thanks for the opportunity!
