Nuclear Industry Professional Joins AlphaTRAC to Expand Emergency Management Markets

Denver, CO (November 2010) — AlphaTRAC, Inc. welcomes the new Vice President of Business Development for the Eastern Region, Richard Davis. Richard will be responsible for developing new and existing markets, managing client relationships, and assisting in the sale of AlphaTRAC’s crisis management solutions. He will also serve as a subject matter expert and provide emergency management consulting services to AlphaTRAC clients.

“Richard has a distinguished track record as an Emergency Manager,” according to Derek Skene, AlphaTRAC’s Program Manager of Emergency Management Solutions. “In addition to extensive experience and expertise within the Department of Energy , Richard has a detailed understanding of the business objectives, regulatory requirements, and challenges that face AlphaTRAC’s customers. He is very adept at crafting solutions to meet the needs of our clients.”

Richard spent 18 years in the commercial nuclear construction industry before beginning his career with the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Savannah River Site (SRS).  Prior to managing the emergency management programs at SRS and Lawrence Livermore National Lab, he held positions in facility management and operations at SRS nuclear facilities.  In addition, Richard chaired the Emergency Management Issues Special Interest Group (EMI-SIG) steering committee for the past four years.

“I was hooked the minute that Reed, the CEO of AlphaTRAC, described the company’s values-based approach,” Richard said. “As we discussed his vision for the future of the company, I was struck by his passion for quality as well as his concern for the well-being and quality of life of his employees. That approach is a perfect fit with my own philosophy, and I believe it establishes a framework for a very successful organization.”

Richard brings a diverse background of operational excellence within the commercial nuclear and DOE worlds, which will allow AlphaTRAC to expand into new markets. The company will leverage his knowledge of emergency management and extensive contacts within DOE to assist in the launch of AlphaACT HAZMAT, AlphaTRAC’s newest product.
