Combat patrol represents the single greatest cause of injuries and deaths among U.S., coalition, and host country troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The AlphaACT Combat Patrol application will radically improve decision-making in mounted and dismounted combat patrols by:

• Teaching warfighters how to think and make effective decisions while on patrols

• Providing individual training, team battle drills, and mission rehearsal tools 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through an engaging, game-like experience

• Quickly adapting to changing enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures

• Providing ready access to advice (live and canned) from soldiers with in-theater experience and combat patrol success
