AlphaTRAC is an emergency management consulting firm that provides comprehensive solutions for clients who prepare for and respond to hazardous materials emergencies. We specialize in:

Based in Westminster, Colorado, AlphaTRAC was started in 1992 by former employees of the U.S. Department of Energy's Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site.

AlphaTRAC’s staff includes experts in air monitoring and air quality, dispersion modeling, meteorology, atmospheric chemistry, hazardous materials assessment, toxicology, health codes, decision-making processes, risk assessment, emergency planning, and risk communication. Our talent pool is broad and deep and includes Certified Consulting Meteorologists who regularly attend and speak at consortiums and special interest groups.

Our staff has many years of experience serving clients within the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies. We have long-standing experience working with regional, state, and local government agencies. We have also provided solutions to private industry, including companies involved in mining, manufacturing, metals processing, chemical production, and waste management.

In addition to our professional activities, we at AlphaTRAC remain closely linked to the community. Our staff has taught weather-related classes in local elementary and secondary schools and air quality courses at state universities. AlphaTRAC enjoys a strong reputation for community service.
